What a serendipitous find. After tasting at smith story and Drew's. The Madrone in Philo is great and this resto is a must stop. I gobbled up their chickpea stew. So tasty

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Wickson is killing it with their wood-fired kitchen, bringing out hard-to-find find flavors in both veggies and meat.

Both service and food were disappointing. One of our appetizers was given to another table, leaving one person in our party of 4 waiting to get their appetizer until others were finished. No apology. Staff began removing dinner plates while some members of party were still eating and seemed surprised when we asked that they wait for everyone to finish their meal.

Food was pretty decent, but certainly not outstanding. Sausage and potato cake dish, while tasty, was far too scanty -- one good sized sausage and a single small potato cake. Even the portion of onions served with the sausage was skimpy. Unlikely to dine here again.

I arrived, having escaped quarantine in the bay area for far too long. Seated on the back patio, enjoying cold refreshment and freshly wood fire baked bread, I couldn't have been happier. What a wonderful retreat. The food was all exceptional. I had salads, goat cheese bruschetta (get this), sandwiches, pizza, croquettes, ice cream. Yes I went more than once, no, I'm not a monster who eats all that in one sitting.

My first visit was so good I knew I had to return even though my respite from the bay was so short. I highly recommend wickson. If you're nearby you must stop and enjoy the wonderful food and warm staff.

Wickson is by far my favorite spot in Anderson valley! Their lunch time sandwiches and salads are incredibly delicious - on housemade wood fired sourdough. And their plum Ice cream and Cookies are the perfect end to a perfect meal. We love stopping in on Monday nights for wood fired pizza and eating in the beautiful backyard!

Had a couple Wickson pizzas for the first time tonight and now I'm kicking myself for not stopping in sooner. Can't wait to try more of the menu in the weeks to come. Thank you Wickson for bringing more fresh, interesting and delicious food to the valley!

We had great veggie soups. It was delicious. Outdoor dining makes us feel safer to dine out.

Absolutely phenomenal. Each dish was so well prepared and the flavors were fantastic we were blown away! One of the best meals we have had, can't wait to go back!

We're so lucky to have such high caliber farm-to-table dining in our little town. If you are visiting Anderson Valley for a day of wine tasting don't miss lunch or dinner at Wickson. Awesome to-go food options as well. Easy online ordering. They have the COVID dining thing down.
