Adventure Cafe opened its doors in 2003, as an innovative and unique Adventure Travel Agency and funky travel enthusiasts Coffee Shop. Initially we offered a wide range of Adventure Holidays, and Adventure Experiences, as well as the finest coffee and paninis for many a mile around. However, the story really started when we started offering not only trips from the big adventure tour operators, but our own, more personal trips. Our trips soon became characterised by the need to explore the outdoors, on foot, by bike, climbing, or in simple watercraft.

His wealth of experience ranges from cycling across the Tibetan Plateau, to swimming the English Channel as part of a relay team, rowing the straits of Gibraltar, as well as Rock Climbing and Caving.Richard set up AC in 2003,.
All Adventure Cafe packages (Tours comprising activities, accommodation and transport - or any two of these components) are protected by a specialist finanancial protection policy. In accordance with "The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations1992" all passengers booking with Adventure Cafe Ltd. are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Adventure Cafe Ltd.
Adventure Cafe has its own company health and safety policy. It conducts Risk Assessments for all events, and issues the key items arising out of the Risk Assessment to participants as part of the Joining Instruction Pack. Leaders are qualified in their given area, in their National Governing Body qualification.

Great coffee drinks with a warm, freindly feel! This place is unique, it offers community in addition to great espresso! This is comfortable place for family game nights, studying, or good conversation. The owner, JR is passionate about coffee and knowledge about each board game offered to the patrons. My kids love the idea of choosing a high quality board game they wouldn't likely be able to play at home, and I love the flavored latte's that are stronger than the other places around town. Very affordable too!

Really awesome place! I rented room 2 for two hours so a couple friends and I could catch up, exchange gifts, and play some game! We brought our own games but next time we go we'd probably check out the awesome selection the Cafe has! We ordered banana nut muffins, a chocolate muffin, an iced tea, and hot chocolates which all tasted great! the staff was really friendly and helpful and I love that the tax is already included in the price. Id definitely reccomend this place to friends and I plan to come back!

New coffee shop in Lee's Summit. Stopped in this evening with the family to see what was up and spent about 45 minutes playing Operation (the board game) over coffees and hot chocolates. They have a really good assortment of board and card games that can be played as well as rentable spaces for events. The owner is pretty cool
