In 1981, Dragoman was formed, and we ran our first trip through the Middle East and North Africa. 40 years on, Dragoman has a fleet of 27 trucks around the world, however they have now stood still for over 15 months and there is still no clarity in when long haul global travel will be able to resume. The management team at Dragoman and Imaginative Traveller are therefore busy putting the organisation into full dormancy until we can see clear and permanent signs of being able to run trips again. This means that we will be suspending our operations and closing our HQ down for the time being.

I travelled from Xi'an to Kunming with Dragoman in September 2019 and it was excellent. Overlanding is a great way to travel. The leaders are friendly and professional, and our local guide was knowledgeable and helped make sure our journey through China went smoothly. Great balance of structured activities and sightseeing versus free time to explore and relax.

This was my second trip with Dragoman, this time starting in Mumbai travelling south through Goa, Kerala, to the tip of India before ending the trip in Chennai. A fantastic mix of cities, countryside, beach resorts and inland water ways. I loved every minute, that was thanks to our amazing crew of Rob and Jan

Amazing trip in Nepal. Different place every couple of days seeing beautiful scenery and meeting great people. The tour leaders Julie and Alex were great at getting us all safely to each destination and letting us know about the areas and places to go in our free time. Will definitely be booking with dragoman again!

South America family trip July, August 2019 What an amazing trip! So many highlights - tango show in Buenos Aires, horse riding on an estancia, the amazing Iguazu falls, wine tasting in Mendoza, zip lining and white water rafting, Street art and murals in Valparaiso, and exploring Santiago. Fantastic guides and drivers (Will and Lewis), great food and adventure shared with 2 other families in Yana our overland truck. Where to go next with Dragoman?!

I travelled with Dragoman Overland a number of times before working for them for many years as a leader/driver. Rest assured you will be travelling with the best overland company out there, who offer by far the widest variety of trips in more parts of the world than the others. Their in house training programme is far more extensive than other companies with a great team working behind the scenes back at base in the UK. Don't hesitate to book a trip with Dragoman!
