Golden Sands Holiday Park is very much a family owned and run caravan and chalet park located on the coast at Withernsea in East Yorkshire. We are open for 10 months of the year. The east side of the park has recently undergone coastal protection work and is now totally protected from the sea. A huge transformation has taken place to develop this side of the park and is now completed. There are several prime cliff top bases available with views out to the sea, with some of the best locations down the east coast.

Withernsea is a seaside resort town and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, and forms the focal point for a wider community of small villages in Holderness. Withernsea has a population of approximately 6000. The resort offers plenty of entertainment for everyone on and off the beach. Not very helpful owners, very picky on what they want, and charge highly for just water and occasionally cutting the grass, , stuck their heels in and let so many paying customers chalets go over the edge, by not paying money back for the barriers, then increased all other rents for the ones they lost! Only the caravan owners end up out of pocket!

Had a chalet here but the sea has since claimed it, it was quite sad to see it go but not as sad as parting with the 600 demolition fee lol. It wasn't too bad a place but couldn't justify the 2400 site fees which gave you access to a site clubhouse on the other side of holmpton road running water and the grass cutting. Don't get me wrong it's a lot cheaper than some sites around this area but it could do with a bit of a tidy up.
