Paul Mundy started his business, the first in the UK to specialise in cruise only holidays, in 1970. On reflection, it was not the best timing; this was also the year the jumbo jet launched, opening up the skies to mass air travel and seeming to signal an end to the golden era of cruising. No wonder, perhaps, that we were the only cruise specialist in the country for some time. But Paul's passion and skills prevailed, the market revived, and his business grew into a leading force in the luxury cruise market.

In March we were proud to receive an award from one of the key travel trade publications, TTG Luxury's 2022 Luxury Cruise Agency of the Year. The award reflected our long history in the cruise industry, but also the way in which we continued to trade over the last two tough years. Now that we are beginning to be able to put those difficult months behind us, we thought it might be an appropriate time to speak about who we are and what we stand for.Current owner and Managing Director Edwina Lonsdale joined the company in 1989, and bought it from the previous owners Paul and Judith Mundy in 1999, in partnership with her husband and co-director Matthew Lonsdale.
