We are an adventure travel company with fundraising at our heart. Made up of people who love the outdoors, our mission is to create adventure challenges that enable people to achieve their ambitions - be that getting fit, pushing their boundaries or doing something incredible to enable them to change the lives of others through fundraising.
Pre Discover Adventure: After failing most of my A Levels my parents dropped me at Portsmouth Harbour (a quick caveat - they didn't abandon me in disappointment, I asked them to!) and from there I began hitchhiking.

We really believe that. We care and we know you do too but we know we aren't perfect, and we imagine that you might not be either. But whether we're thousands of miles apart or living next door, we share this blue and green planet and we want to make sure that what we do whilst we are living on it, benefits future generations of all species for years to come - human, animal, plant or otherwise!
If in the small chance we aren't able to answer your call, please leave us a message and we will call you straight back. Leave the City on the A345 travelling south-west towards Blandford. After 5 miles you will reach Coombe Bissett, stay on the main road and continue through the village and up the hill, ignore the left hand turn to Rockbourne and bear right around the bend. You will pass Hillcrest Kennels on your left. In a few moments you will see an Industrial Unit for Raynsford Kitchens on the left.
We all know how hard it is to check the 'small print' until it's absolutely necessary, so we thought it would help you to have all our legal bits and bobs in one place so you can peruse at your convenience! We also recognise how some 'legal' or 'directive' papers can be really hard to understand, so we've really tried to write this in as plainly and in simple terms as possible.
Trekking through a region allows you to truly discover it with all your senses. It gives you access to unspoilt natural landscapes, and communities where the culture adds an unforgettable dimension to your experiences. At walking pace we can savour the ever-changing views, spot enchanting wildlife, and appreciate the local way of life as we share trails with the people who live in these beautiful, often wild, environments.

I have been on a number of expeditions with Discover Adventure. They look after you, encourage you and ensure that every aspect is enjoyable and memorable. As a single person, you meet like-minded others and after my first expedition which is over 20 years ago, we are still in touch with each other. Don't hesitate - go

Rode a London to Paris ride just as COVID restrictions allowed us back abroad. Despite obvious complications added to the trip DA were fantastic. Steered us through the requirements and kept us all safe and looked after us superbly. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Great ride and looking forward to riding with them again.

Had an absolutely awesome trip on the Great Wall of China with these guys in 2019. Everything was brilliantly organised from kit lists and training plans to accommodation and trekking routes. The DA guys who came with us were fantastic. Felt totally safe and well looked after, especially as a solo, middle aged female traveller. Already booked my next trip with them (India) and have another 4 DA treks on my wish list! Great value for money and the best way to really explore some amazing parts of the world.

Did the Croatia hiking trip a couple of years ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it. A chance to see a part of Croatia away from the touristy bit. If you travel with DA don't expect 5* hotels and days by the pool. Expect good companionship, local eats and beautiful scenery. The leaders knew their stuff, and were fully aware and helpful with my limitations. (Fear of heights and recovery from a serious illness.)

I travelled to Kilimanjaro with DA for a New Year's summit. I travelled as a solo traveller and had never done anything like this before. The booking process and information was easy and from arriving in Heathrow I felt part of a team. Our team leaders and doctor were friendly and knowledgeable. Literally all stress was taken away. The whole team lost their kit due to a late connection but between our team leaders and the local partners, all worry was taken away. The professionalism of DA left me able to enjoy my trip and focus on the task in hand and welcoming in a new year from Uhuru was more than I ever dreamt I'd achieve.
