Far & Ride Ltd

We have used Far and Ride for three trips so far (Egypt, Wales, Croatia) and would not book a horse riding holiday with any other company. The staff personally try every trip to ensure its up to scratch, and this also means they can give in-depth insight and advice. I like that they will be honest if they feel a particular trip is not suitable for you and provide alternatives.

They respond quickly to correspondence and were very flexible with regards to Covid. So far we have had a wonderful time on each of our trips, which have been as described or even better. We look forward to booking our next one.

Really amazing experience booking my trip with Far&Ride! Extremely convenient and the team was very communicative for my (thousands) of questions, no matter when I sent them (I worked with Natalie, who was quick to respond and always incredibly helpful). The trip itself was exactly as described on the site, if not better - I felt very prepared for it and could not have had a better time. Will definitely use Far & Ride again in the future for booking my next rides!

Holly is the best! She is easy to communicate with such friendly vibe, and will work everything out the best she can to make sure you will have good time. I had to ask for some variations of my itinerary and she worked it all out without missing a beat. Most recommended!

I often don't find myself leaving reviews, I chose Far & Ride Ltd for the comfort of having a travel agent assistance when booking international equestrian vacations. Natalie has been a tremendous help with the booking of my vacation, definitely takes away the nerves of booking a trip. I would highly recommend this travel agency for future riding adventures! 10/10

I have used Far & Ride twice now, once for my Mongolian adventure and once for a Morocco trip. Both times I was well prepared for the trip by the staff, who made certain I knew what to expect ahead of time. They are always available to help out, even when you are on the trip. Both trips went really well and I will certainly be using Far & Ride again for my next trip. Holly knows my riding capabilities, and even advises me on better options if she thinks a trip will not be up to my level of riding or expectations. If you are planning an equestrian holiday, definitely use Far & Ride. They go one step beyond with everything, their communication is great and they really show they care.

Natalie was so friendly, helpful and responsive to all of my questions leading up to my trip, gave me detailed information that helped me to be prepared, and continued to be supportive and helpful during the trip as well. As a first time international solo traveler this really helped to give me confidence in attempting such an adventure. I would highly recommend Far and Ride's services. I booked a horse riding holiday amidst ever-changing COVID restrictions and the personalised service I received from Holly in particular was brilliant. I was fortunate enough to go on the holiday as planned to Portugal in May 2021 and had the best time - the holiday was definitely as described but far exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be a returning customer in the future.

We always book our riding adventures with far & ride. Our latest was another brilliant find in Wales. You can a rely on sound advice & great back up, they are very knowledgeable about every destination they have. Trust them implicitly.

I have booked 4 riding holidays with Far and Ride and each one has been incredible. Holly's recommendations have all been brilliant and tailored to my preferences and skill level. The riding establishments are thoroughly vetted prior to being offered by Far and Ride and the communication between rider, establishment, and booking agent has been seamless. I wouldn't dream of booking a riding holiday through anyone else and am truly grateful for all of the wonderful experiences Far and Ride has facilitated.

I've travelled several times with far and ride, also twice with Holly personally. I can honestly not find anything even resembling to constructive criticism to think of, and i am pretty critical and like control, so that's saying a lot;) Would not travel with any other company! As a personal anecdote I can share one holiday where I ended up being. the only participant.

I was a bit reluctant going as a women alone into the middle of nowhere on horseback with an unknown male guide. However not only was Holly very understanding, even offering to look for alternatives or cancelling, but she arranged for me to be called locally by the wife of the business family, probably the guide's mum or aunt, not sure, just to check in with me if I was feeling safe. If that's not going above and beyond :)

Great honest advice on trip options which take account of budget, riding level and the desired holiday experience. and with knowledge that means they can suggest brilliant locations you might not otherwise have considered. What's not to like!

I have been lucky enough to do several holidays with Far and Ride (OK, if I'm honest, in one particularly wild year, several holidays in one year). The service, support and advice has always been above and. beyond, the holidays they offer are carefully selected, and you know you're guaranteed well-cared for horses. They really do have everything - from 'luxury' horseback safaris to low-cost 'foodie' riding weekends in Europe to camping adventures across Mongolia to galloping across the desert - hugely varied but all absolutely brilliant.

I did in the past book holidays direct, but booking through them makes things much easier, guarantees quality and with the loyalty discount as great value too. Looking back at photos has made me yearn for my next trip - luckily I have two safaris and a summer holiday in Portugal booked to look forward to!

Had an amazing time at Flowerhill in 2018! The whole team at F&R were so helpful and really put us at ease. We had booked to go again in 2019 but I injured my knee, again no issue for Holly and the gang they. let us keep the holiday in credit and postpone for the next year. COVID scuppered our plans for 2020 and 2021. Here's to 2022 and hopefully our trip to Flowerhill, I can't wait! 5* for Far and Ride, highly recommend!

This company is the best I have found for riding holidays abroad. Nothing is too much trouble, its like dealing with friends. If you have any questions you will get a TRUE answer either straight away or within a couple of days. I have been away with them 13 times. Bosnia 8 Croatia 3 France 1 and Spain 1. All the holidays have been just as it says on the web site or better. I would have been going away again last year but Covid19 stopped that. I will be going again with them as soon as it is safe to travel. I cant recommend them enough

Cathy and Holly went above and beyond to help me during Covid 19. Two trips were booked and then changed last minute due to going off the travel corridor list. They were extremely helpful and I ended up. switching to an absolutely amazing trip to Wales only a few days before going. Very helpful, kind and supportive. They also have a great insight of the trips as they have been on them personally and could tell me all about them and which one would suit me. Contact them and I am sure they will find the perfect riding holiday for you.

I've taken three trips through Far and Ride, one in Spain and two in France, and I have only wonderful things to say about the F&R team and the horse riding facilities they partner with! They work with only the best, and each trip I've taken I was met with incredible horses, hosts, guides, accommodation and food!
