Services
Diving World offers a wide range of worldwide destinations including The Galapagos Islands, Cocos Island, Tahiti, The Maldives, Bali, Gangga, Manado, Tulamben Bay, Menjangan Island, Malaysia, Philippines, Mozambique and Tanzania. From time to time we also offer Hawaii, Belize, Turks and Caicos, PalauUtila, Fiji and the Cayman Islands.
The Red Sea sprang to life centuries ago following a movement of plates in the earth's crust, and it has been widening at a rate of 1.2 cm a year ever since. Its prolific coral growth is due to a combination of factors, including a low tidal range, a favourable water temperature, and the sun's life-giving rays, which penetrate to depths of up to 46m.
The vessels on which these liveaboard trips are made are carefully designed with both your safety and comfort in mind. There is little doubt that these vessels now offer superior living conditions comparable to a luxurious hotel. Many of our boats have state of the art diving facilities such as technical equipment and enhanced compressors.
About 90km north of Sharm el Sheikh lies the town of Dahab. Dahab means 'gold' in Arabic. In Sinai, however, it actually means golden sands, turquoise sea and off-beat cafe life. The town itself mainly consists of two villages; the Bedouin village of Assalah in the southern half, with the business and administrative center of Dahab to the north.
