We have invested extensively in renewable energy organisations and technology in the last decade including leading renewable energy consultancy Natural Power and wind lidar device supplier ZX Lidars. Our interests also extend to Travel, where we provide traditional cruises to exciting worldwide destinations from UK ports with Fred.
Olsen have been active in the UK renewables market since acquisition of consultancy company Natural Power in 1993. Our renewables portfolio has grown significantly over the past two decades with further investment in both consultancy companies and innovative technology businesses. Renewable energy project consultancy and contracting services are delivered through Natural Power whilst innovative technology products are delivered through ZX Lidars.

The ZX Lidars team deliver wind lidar solutions across the global renewable energy market. Our experts have over 20 years experience working with lidar systems and ZX Lidars has operated in the field for over a decade with more than 650 deployments worldwide and over 3 million operating hours. We are proud to have been the first commercially available lidar system, the first to take measurements from a turbine spinner, the first to deploy an offshore lidar - both fixed and floating - and continue to pioneer the wind lidar sector with the release of new products and services.
Olsen have been active in the UK travel market since establishing our travel agency some 25 years ago. Our travel portfolio has grown significantly over the past two decades with a number of brands forming under the Fred. Olsen Travel umbrella addressing specific audiences wihin this sector - from business clients to cruising, and from holiday makers to business franchises.
