This is another hard ride climbing to Haza del Lino through Polopos. This is one of the shorter ways up to Haza del lino but one of the hardest as it averages 7% gradient and it's 18 kms long. You can start this route from either Alaro or anywhere between Alaro and Orient. This route will take us to picturesque Puerto de Soller but before you'll have to climb Soller.
At 3,398 metres above sea level the Pico Veleta is Europe's highest paved road and Europe's highest cycling climb. The climb starts on the outskirts of Granada and goes all the way to the top. Another way going up to El Teide from El Medano, a must do climb, if you staying in one of the El Medano Hotels.

Item arrived late. Appreciate there was an extended bank holiday but even so when you're desperate for a part and email asking for an update, it's annoying when it doesn't arrive within the 48hr window from confirmation of posting and allowing for the bank holiday (I have my doubts it had been sent when they said). Needless to say I can see there's a common theme with the business of not getting in touch etc.
It took a PayPal dispute to get a reply, but then the item arrived and they emailed twice to get it closed off as a dispute. Shame nobody acknowledged or even apologised for my email prior to raising complaint. I won't be using again.

Ordered 2 x 25c Tubeless tyres from Tweeks, they turned up, one was a 30c and the other one was a 25c tubed type. Called them and asked them to send me the correct order. Was told they would, and in fairness a parcel did arrive the next day. But again it was incorrect. They organised to pick up the parcel the following day as I cancelled it. That was last Wednesday, I've just had to phone and chase my refund nearly a week later.
I've been told 'there is a credit on your account and it will be refunded today' Why have I had to chase to get my money back? In fairness, the customer service people at Tweeks are really nice and helpful. The rest of the company could learn a thing of 2 from the customer service dept. It seems these poor guys in customer service spend most of their time apologising for sloppy processes across the rest of the business. I'm giving 2 stars for the customer service team. Otherwise it would be no stars.

Customer service at its best! As a serial Audax'r reliability is everything.be it kit, in this case my 'spanky' new Garmin 1030+ or service ("yeah it will arrive - honest guv").Tweeks knocked it out the park. Edge died yesterday (power button imploded) after a teenage rant/rave/omg/omg moment of "I've Brevet Cymru on Saturday aaaaaaaahhhh"! Rang, confirmed in stock; arrived today (14hrs later :).thank you for doing what it says on the tin!
Generally find reviews about Customer Service irrelevant, it should just arrive after all! However; in these days of bike/parts shortages, false promises and under delivery it should be called out when businesses/people truly deliver. Again, many thanks.

Beware of Questionable online sales practices. Items available on the website are actually not in stock. They will not warn you about this, but rather make you wait and wonder what's going on with your order for weeks. I cancelled my 700EUR order with express delivery after 2.5 weeks of waiting. Multiple email inquiries, very slow responses. First they said they didn't have one of the items in stock and asked if I wanted to wait.
When I told them to replace the item with something, they ignored me and later responded to a separate email that they didn't have something else and "items haven't yet dispatched from supplier". Really? Learn how to sell online and quit showing misleading in stock data! Or better stop selling online if you cannot shop within a day or two! You are the worst bicycle parts store.

5* I ordered front+rear Hope Tech 3 E4 brakes through Tweeks Cycles, well, I actually ordered the wrong ones at first (my fault) my error was quickly put right and refunded & re-ordered before shipment. Arrived next day. I haven't fitted them yet, but I've inspected them and I'm very happy. I don't usually write reviews but I had a good experience.

Ordered a premium Thule bike rack. To my surprise it arrived the very next day! Excellent! However, it arrived damaged with bits in the bottom of the box. I emailed Tweeks with photos and followed this up with a call to their customer services. Initially it sounded like they would take care of it but 12 days later and I've heard nothing back! Started off great but unfortunately no customer service to back it up. Update 12th April - still nothing!
Despite their reply to this review and a promise to resolve the issue I'm still waiting. Utterly useless and well deserving of the consistently poor reviews Tweeks have acquired.

Goods arrived damaged and I immediately notified sales/customer service. I offered to repair it myself if they would forward a replacement part. Got fobbed off for three weeks before before eventually receiving an email telling me to return the complete package and 'they would see if they could cover the postage costs'. All emails since have been ignored and I still don't have a resolution.
Even when you do get a reply it takes days. If you are buying from this company, make sure to use Paypal or a credit card so you have some comeback as you will get no satisfaction from them once you've made your payment. Avoid if possible or be aware of the risk!
