Owned by Far Frontiers Travel and operating as its polar division, Arcturus is run by Fiona Brijnath who has an established reputation in the travel business. In its early days, Arcturus was one of the pioneers of wildlife tours in the Arctic and our itineraries have their genesis in years of local research and experience.

Fiona operates from offices based in an idyllic rural setting within Dartmoor National Park in Devon. When not hard at work planning amazing itineraries for her clients, she often heads off onto the moor with map in hand to explore some of the remoter parts of this extraordinary wilderness. Over the past 29 years Fiona Brijnath has established a notable reputation for tailored travel.
Arcturus has over 40 years' experience in leading expeditions for small groups of people and can cater for varying levels of fitness. By day we take long or short hikes on foot, snow shoe or ski or explore by boat, and at night we camp simply but comfortably, stay in mountain huts or small family run hotels, depending on the trip and location, weather and snow conditions.
