The Portes du Soleil covers an enormous area in the corners of both France and Switzerland and offers around an impressive 650km of marked pistes. As such, it has an unbelievable amount of skiing for your holiday, with pistes crisscrossing the borders at regular intervals. Avoriaz is perhaps the jewel in the crown of the area as the village has lifts and pistes fanning out in all directions.

Fabulous experience! Everything about our ski vacation in Avoriaz was just perfect. Our hosts in Chalet Poudreuse, Joe and Jackie, were excellent and always went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Highly recommend this operator and will definitely being using their services again.

Just back from a fantastic weekend skiing in Avoriaz. Every was perfect the snow, slopes, chalet and host. Kirsty was fantastic, it was a real treat to come back to the chalet after a full day ski to find a fresh baked cake. It was a brilliant weekend and will have to do that again next year!

Went to Avoriaz with Ski weekends. Great chalet! Ski in, ski out, with great service throughout - reps at airport, transfer, rep and staff in resort. Lovely three course meals and hearty breakfasts. Great value for money!

Stayed with Ski Weekends a number of times throughout the 2020 winter before Covid hit. The aussie chalet host working the Chalet Lauzes in Avoriaz was warm, inviting and professional. His meals were superb. The skiing was amazing. Full ski in/ski out. Fantastic resort, no cars and huge area. Will definitely use again. Have used other larger companies but they lacked the small intimate aura of Ski Weekends.

We skiid with Ski Weekends at Les Gets and had a wonderful holiday. It was a picture postcard area with great slopes. The things that made it for us however were all about the care and attention that Dan and Sarah put in to ensuring we had a great time. Great chalet, great staff, great food, great tours and great company. All in all it was a great value holiday which we will definitely want to repeat with them.
