We arrived at Split airport where we cleared customs and security with ease, we were then greeted by Daniela who was our tour and cruise guide. Heathrow Airport unveiled plans for its new Terminal 2 today after major structural work was completed. The new Terminal 2 will open in 2012 after a 2.5 billion investment and will be home to Star Alliance carriers. Terminal 2 will be developed in two phases, first with an extended terminal on the site of the old Terminal 2 and Queen's Building to open in 2014.
