Very disappointed. I spoke to a Mercury Holidays member of staff, Rachel, to enquire about a holiday package to Mombassa, Kenya. She couldn't find the hotel I was enquiring about - even though I had the details on the Mercury Holidays website on my screen. She was very hesitant and unsure and gave me no confidence. She said she was going to phone me back when she had sorted it out. I'm still waiting. Very poor

Didn't enjoy the holiday as much this year due to building work at the next hotel.we wasn't warned about this by Mercury and it had started 2 months before. Drilling, dust from 7am, no chance of a peaceful coffee on verandah with Seaview. Our hotel was doing lots of work aswell, which didn't bother us until they started on half of the restaurant. Heard banging in lounge whilst having a quiet drink.
Also shattered glass around pool from replacing restaurant window. In brochure it said nightly entertainment but only 3 nights. The hotel offered change of rooms but still noisy. The rep offered another hotel but we were already 3 days into our 7 day holiday. Very upset and disappointed. Qawra hotel MALTA 4th May.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cypria Maris. The staff were all friendly, helpful and attentive, whatever you needed they could sort it out. The nightly Entertainment was varied and all of excellent quality (sometimes more than one act per evening in various venues). The Food was lovely, varied and all excellent quality, hot and fresh with long mealtime options. Unusually in our experience there was local beer and wine on tap as well as various fruit juices and soft drinks and a coffee and hot chocolate machine even after dinner! Rooms were well furnished with plenty of toiletries and extras.
The towels and sheets were changed daily and the coffee, various teas and milk supplies were replenished daily too, along with a bottle of water. Very comfy beds, a pillow menu (!) and blackout curtains made for great sleep. There were various activities including keep fit, yoga, stretching, pilates and dancing (including Greek dancing!), also darts, snooker and so on plus special cocktail and food demonstrations leading up to Christmas and New Year, The Gala Dinners were very well run with an excellent array of food choices and entertaining acts.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy with air purifiers and sanitisers and the grounds were well kept. We felt really relaxed and happy on holiday at Cypria Maris and look forward to returning.

We postponed this holiday from November 2020 to November 2021 due to Covid. Upon arrival at Paphos airport, the rep was totally disorganised but eventually sorted the pre-booked transport. We arrived in the dark but in the morning were woken by building site noise and dust. Spoke with Angela at our Welcome Meeting whom advised she wasn't aware of the THREE building sites! Offered to move us to another room within the same hotel Paphos Gardens, which faced inland and towards the Cyprus Animal Shelter with dogs, cats and donkeys, we declined due to the animal noise.
We emailed again and awaited a response to the request to move us to another hotel, eventually the feeble excuse was no rooms available within in the Paphos area within our pre-paid budget but did offer an immediate move if we paid another 600 for an upgrade! No one contacted us from Head Office to discuss anything until I complained again upon our return (I have copies of all correspondence about the poor customer services from Mercury Holidays).
I have been offered a 'goodwill gesture' payment of 117.52 which I have rejected. I am now awaiting a full refund due to a frustrating and mentally bad experience with the local rep and head office. We did not book a holiday to be surrounded by building sites less than 300 metres away, these sites did not just pop up overnight!

We were disappointed that our holiday arrangements didn't work out through no fault of Mercury. They were obliging and could not be faulted on the treatment that we received. We received a full refund and we will definitely be booking our future holidays with this company. The people that we spoke to Lisa, Amy and Katy are a credit to the company. Thank you.

I originally booked through Thomas Cook to go to Malta to attend a friends wedding, This was postponed due to COVID so we rescheduled to attend the amended date. This was also then cancelled as the number of guests was very limited and the hotel couldn't offer what was originally booked. I explained all this each time I was contacted by mercury to find out what was happening and that myself and son were no longer going as the whole point was to attend the wedding.
My anxiety about being stuck on a plane or in a busy airport during these testing times is through the roof. I have now lost my deposit, etc which I really couldn't afford but they said that's what would happen and there was nothing they could do about it. Will never use them again or recommend them to anyone
