Wildwatch Tours is a small company that is dedicated to the provision of holidays to the highest standards to those who have an interest in naturual history, ornithology and photography, whilst wishing to remain in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The emphasis is on the word holiday!
Services
This one day workshop will consists of photographing wild Red Squirrels, from a hide, also the use of a reflection pool and if time allows jumping squirrels. This is based in Yorkshire. Drinks included. Time 08.30am to 14.00pm. Overnight stay can be arranged if needed the night before. We will be running a workshop photographing Red Squirrels in the snow, but it will be at short notice when the snow arrives, also throughout the spring and summer, please ring Peter to register your interest on 01623 411215.
Antarctica is the must destination this far icy region of our planet is no longer out of our reach with its majestic giant icebergs and all its unique wildlife. Again like the Arctic this is a rugged and hostile wilderness in the winter but we go in the summer months where we can enjoy up to 24 hours of daylight most with clear blue skies.
If you have never been to the Arctic Archipelago before it's a must, situated only some 500 miles from the North Pole. If you have any concerns about global warming come and see for yourself, and help to protect this fragile environment and see one of the world's most endangered animals which are at the top of the food chain the Polar Bear.
We will spend time watching and photographing Grizzly Bears catching Salmon and have the opportunity to go Whale watching for Orca's. Drive through Jasper and Banff National Parks in full Autumn colours, looking for other wildlife such as Big Horn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Wolves, Deer, Elk, Moose and Black Bears, calling at some of the tourist spots, such as Lake Maligne, Lake Moraine, Lake Louise, Lake Peyto and Lake Vermilion.
From our many lectures and wildlife tours we are often asked if we run short workshops on digital photography and digital production. Our aim is to hone your photographic skills and empower you to produce great pictures, fit for your wall or gallery. Whether your interests lie in wildlife, landscape or street photography these courses will contain something special for you. What you will get. During the day (conditions permitting) we will use the time to visit something of photographic merit close to the venue.
