This programme offers the opportunity for overseas communities (schools, social clubs, faith groups, sports teams, nursing organisations, etc) to link with an appropriate community in South or Southern Africa. Face Africa will facilitate the selection of an appropriate partner and put the sustainability indicators in place to ensure that both communities understand what the partnership entails.
Face Africa has been facilitating positive partnerships between schools in the UK and schools and communities around Southern Africa for more than 8 years. Our international programme offers transformational experiences for young people and educators alike, by creating a range of travel based interactions that build long-term relationships and foster mutual understanding.
We are active members of the South Africa Youth Travel Confederation (SAYTC) and Volunteering South Africa (VolSA), and also members of the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SATSA - membership no. 1908. Through SATSA we offer a bonding scheme guaranteeing clients' monies paid to us. We hold full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurances through the Safari and Tourism Insurance Brokers (SATIB).
