Collineige is a class apart. The experience begins when you speak to their UK team who walk you through options carefully and help coordinate not just your stay, but all the activities around.' Chamonix saw the first small beginnings of Collineige when Colleen came to the valley, met and married local mountain guide Jean-Marie Olianti and together they began to build up a bijou collection of carefully chosen chalets and apartments.
We can hardly believe that was over 35 years ago. In the intervening years the Collineige collection (still small and select) has evolved to the point where we can boast some of the finest properties in the valley, and the Olianti family has grown, providing some extra pairs of hands when necessary.

Services
The chalets in the Collineige portfolio are chosen with great care. Having lived in Chamonix for so many years we have the right knowledge and connections to find the best chalets in Chamonix and the Chamonix Valley. We also have wonderful reps who are there (at a distance when necessary!) to make sure that your chalet is spotless and that you have all you require.
Chalet Valhalla was built with beautiful natural timbers and is a structure of grand proportions right in the heart of Chamonix. It is open and light with floor to ceiling windows giving you Titanic views of Mont Blanc. A minstrel's gallery overlooks the sitting/dining room and from here you share the same breathtaking view that is enjoyed from below.
Mazot les Tines is a cosy little hideaway straight out of Hansel and Gretel. A small chalet situated between Chamonix and Argentiere in the village of Les Tines it is well placed for skiing at both Les Grands Montets and Flegere - Brevent. There is free day travel in the valley for our visitors using the bus or little single track mountain train.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience staying in Brigitte's Mazot. Everything about our time was magical. While small, the Mazot had everything we needed. The kitchen came fully stocked, there were smart storage solutions for our luggage, the bathroom had recently undergone a renovation which included heated floors (thank you!) and the space was clean. We enjoyed taking the 5 minute walk into town and drinking wine in the garden. Looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing! We've been there three times now and I've never bothered to write review but came away again blown away by our experience and how well we were looked after. Stayed in Valhalla this time. Superb organisation, amazing food, perfect location for access to the slopes, the hosts couldn't do enough and the alpine accommodation beautiful. Langering in the Jacuzzi, staring up at Mont Blanc as the sun sets then tootling round the corner into Chamonix for a few beers. The best winter family holiday we've ever had and we will keep going back.

We took the family to Valhalla this year having thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Mazots the year before. Collineige yet again delivered the most fabulous week - the chalet was utterly gorgeous and the food superb. Attention to detail is clearly Collineige's hallmark and nothing was too much effort; from the moment of our arrival we were made to feel very special. A fabulous family holiday - thank you Collineige - we will definitely be back!

We stayed in gorgeous chalet Frasserands near to Le Tour, it is isolated but we loved it that way with our handy driver Locky getting us where we needed to go. While we only had transfers to the ski fields booked the team were always very responsive and flexible if we wanted to add other taxis into our itinerary. This was out second trip to Chamonix with Collineige and the Chefs get better every year! Colleen seems to have some great contacts down under as the first year they were lovely Australians and this year a Kiwi called Whitney Kitchen! I would prefer to 4.5 stars as the location could have been more central but next time I will just stay at one of their more central properties.

This was meant to be the holiday of a lifetime, but it was far from that. We had no tv for 4 days, it needed a new cable had to be ordered, there was not enough hot water for 8 of us so half of us didn't shower for 3 days then had to take turns. Taps in sink sprayed out when on, sink plugs didn't work so it was difficult to wash pots pans, the coffee machine was leaking had to be replaced, there was one champagne glass in the house they had to bring a set.
The lack of privacy was horrendous, the staff were at the house every day except for xmas day, it was a total invasion of our privacy, it was a construction site. They then decided to change the hot water service because the tank was no large enough, they needed this for the next booking because it wasn't going to help us we were too far into our 7 day stay.
Without asking us if we minded, they spent 2 full days on site replacing the tank. This meant we were without water while they were working on the house. Interrupted our washing as it had to be stopped. They then Organised a cleaner to come in mid through the week without asking us as a favour but it was a hindrance because we could not get into the house because the floors were wet, we had groceries to unpack and had to get our little ones to sleep but had to wait, had they asked us we would have said no thank you but of course we were not asked.
We Couldn't sit on the left lounge because you sunk in because the framework was broken. So we had to bring dining chairs into the lounge area. Far from ideal. There were Only 6 dining chairs but there were 8 of us. We had to have our 4 year old sit in a high chair, she was way too big for that. We then found that the house had been left unlocked because the Next door neighbour walked in one night unannounced at 8pm to fiddle with the heating system screaming out to us from the basement area.
The heating never worked correctly. After that night we froze during the night. We had to organise our days around the hot water system and cleaner. They did drop in a bottle of champagne and oysters, thinking that should make everything OK. Far from it. It was like they were watching us the whole time, which was just awful. We were Asked on day 4 if we wanted to move to another house, but were never told which house and as we had so much in luggage including 2 babies we said no thank you plus by this time we didn't trust the company, what would we be moving to.
Although on our arrival home in one of the emails they showed us the house, looked great but we were never told about this house at the time. We were told on arrival that we had to pay for additional firewood but the advert doesn't mention that, this is for a very expensive house, just outrageous. We were told after booking just before our arrival and we had booked 6 months prior, that Checkin was was 5pm and checkout 10am? Told on our last day that a refund of 2 full days would be given that day, wasn't enough as far as we were concerned I believed half the week should have been offered, but we accepted the offer, only to be told 20 days later that 800 euros was the offer, not nearly 2 days - 2 days was 2000 euros.
In an email they said 2 days was never offered. So now they are calling us liars. Absolutely disgusted. Still haven't received even the 800 euros. There was No outdoor furniture to sit on, the Shower heads sprayed everywhere. It was a complete nightmare this house did not function, although it looked great. We chose this house one of the most expensive, because of the baths it was a huge attraction, but we never got to use the baths because of the hot water situation.
We are disgusted with this company, the lack of compassion because of what we went through was very surprising. The emails from this company are rude. They have said the next lot of tenants didn't have a problem? what a comment to make of course they didn't because the house was worked on every day while we were there, so everything was fixed prior to their arrival. Anyway that was our experience.
